Winter Caps by Stewart + Brown

by Erin on September 28th, 2007

I’m on such an Stewart + Brown kick! I apologize for those who find it too expensive and/or too boho. I’ll find another store to obsess about soon!

It’s finally getting cold up here in the Great White North, which makes me excited for my second favorite fashion season — winter! I love all the accessories that come with bundling up — caps and mittens and scarves and boots and socks. Seriously, I was destined to be an eighty-five year old woman who is always cold.

Here are some of my favorite hats and caps. They are all made out of 100% sustainable Mongolian cashmere, making them eco-friendly and fair trade!

Shore Cap
This looks like your basic winter staple. I love the rich blue color. It’s a bit pricey for a cap — $109.00 — but then remember it will be luscious Mongolian cashmere resting against your freezing earlobes. Can’t complain about that, can you?

Pick yours up here. They also have matching scarf and mittens if you’re into that kinda thing.

More hats after the jump!

Pom Poms!
I love pom poms. This lattice earflap hat’s details and dark colors (brown, black and blue) prevent the pom pom from making you look like you are a seven year old. Instead it’ll give you a “cute” and “quirky” vibe. If you do go pom pom on me don’t get a patterned hat — you’ll just look silly.

And for $159.00, this hat better not make you look silly. Click here to get it.

Peasant Cap
I love this artsy take on the winter hat. You’ll look romantic and whimsical all winter long — you won’t need a romantic snowfall! It comes in awesome colors like nocturne (shown), indigo, light heather and dark heather.

Get yours here for $165.00.

I know these were a bit pricey, but they are so pretty I couldn’t help myself. As soon as I have $165.00 to blow on accessories, I’m getting myself the peasant one!

I LOVE the style of the purple one! It’s really classy and cute. The other two are cute too, but their style is so common that I can’t justify spending that much. It’s not cold here yet, so perhaps I’ll save up enough for that purple one by the time I’ll need a hat…I adore it:)

Those are so cute and they just make me long for weather cool enough to enjoy them! A bit spendy for me…a lower end dupe will fit my wallet more comfortably!

I love winter caps, but I wonder if there is a trick to avoid the static after taking the cap off?

I’m in love with the black pom pom cap. Very cute.

I like the middle one — my own winter hat is like that but green and brown. I don’t think I could ever pay so much for a hat though. Also, I too wish there was a way to avoid static hat head. I think I saw that in a magazine once. I should pay closer attention.
