Sustainable Cashmere Sweaters from Stewart + Brown

by Erin on October 11th, 2007

I love, love, love cashmere. It’s soft and makes me feel sophisticated and elegant, even when it’s a second hand cardigan I found in a discount bin because it had a stain on the collar. (I really own that sweater. It’s yellow).

Thankfully, Stewart + Brown has glorious sustainable and fair trade cashmere sweaters that are perfect for fall! Here are some of my favorites. Warning — the prices are NOT second-hand!! But a girl can look, can’t she?

Double Collar Baarum Cardigan
I love the cut and shape of this sweater. It’s a sweet, girly choice that has jersey stitching and ribbed texture.

It costs $315.00 big ones you can spend by clicking here.

More sweaters after the jump!

V-Neck Sweater
The deep v-neck of this sweater makes cashmere sexy. It’s perfect for those days at the office or at home when you feel a bit saucy.

This sweater has a very fitted cut, so be sure of the sizing before you order. It can be yours for $265.00 here.Scoop Neck
I love this sweater because it’s a modern eco-friendly take on the classic fitted scoop-neck sweater. What makes it edgy are the striped cuffs! It gives the sweater some spunk.

This one is $235.00 and can be ordered here.A Hoodie
This sweater is fantastic for two reasons: 1) I love the rich purple color (it’s available in 5 color options!) and 2) it’s way too classy to be a hoodie! But it is! Blows your mind, doesn’t it?

Stewart + Brown promises that this sweater is “light, breathable and softer than you can imagine.” For $385.00, it better be!These are only some of the amazing options Stewart + Brown has in their cashmere collection. You can check out the rest here.
