Googling Eco-Fashion

by Erin on October 25th, 2007

When I think of eco-fashion designers, I think Stella McCartney, Linda Loudermilk, Kelly B…not Google.

Yet, here we are. You now can get Google paraphernalia that is made out of organic cotton, hemp, bamboo and soybeans.

So, while calling them designers was a bit of a stretch (the garments consist of your basic caps, tees and hoodies), it’s a little weird to see these guys branch out into the world of eco-fashion. Good — very, very good — but weird.

My pick? The basic tee. I love the contrast of colorful Google logo against the white and the cheeky “I’m Feeling Lucky” on the back of the shirt. It’s made out of 100% organic cotton and can be yours for $12.50. Get a big one and lounge around in it or a smaller one that’ll look more fitted — perfect for errands or days at the park or the beach or the gym.
