Fashion Week is Going Green!
This is exciting news! New York Fashion Week started yesterday and they are emphasizing green fashion. There are more green designers than ever — from mainstream ones like Stella McCartney and to brand new unknowns like Sworn Virgins!
I haven’t heard word about whether or not the behind-the-scenes procedures are getting a green makeover too, but it’s still good to hear about all the ethical and environmental designers being showcased.
New eco-magazine Sprig.com is promising to follow all the green events with polls, videos, pictures and more. Be sure to check it out from time to time this week.

My push to start using green products is one of the reasons I got into mineral make up. People can order refills instead of buying a whole new package…much less waste and you tend to use every ounce of powder since you shake it out !
I am glad to see others being so earth conscious!

Well, it is nice to see fashion biggies step up to green. That site Sprig looks way cool — the second I get more time I’m going back to check it out some more.
