Emily Katz is Purr-fect
Okay, another lame title. I apologize. But get used to them, I love lame puns.
So I went MIA again. It was Canadian turkey day this weekend so me and the boyfriend headed up into Ontario wilderness to make family time with his parents, grandparents and everyone. It was a good time and I ate lots of yummy veggies.
Too many yummy veggies to be exact. I need to hit the gym tomorrow.
But good news! When I returned, I discovered that the Greenloop now carries Emily Katz’s clothing line. Emily is a designer from Portland, Oregon who uses eco-friendly fabrics like soy jersey, hemp, recycled/poly demin and organic fabrics.
I love how classy and elegant her clothing is. Here are a few of the pieces you can pick up at Greenloop.
Soy Gallery Dress
I love the simplistic versatility of this dress. Sexy heels and a clutch and you’re ready for an evening out. Tights, boots and a jacket and you’re ready to hit the streets. A perfect day-to-evening piece.

It’s made out of soy cowl and is yours for $148.00 from the Greenloop.More pieces after the jump!
The Trenchcoat
This green take on the classic trench is chic and modern. Katz used a recycled poly/hemp denim to make this timeless and wearable jacket. The classic style lets you pair it with anything! I’d make a lean silhouette for under the jacket (think pencil skirt or slim jeans) to contrast with the bulkiness of the coat.

It’s $348.00 and can be ordered here.Cowl Tunic
When I get a grown-up job, I want a shirt like this to wear to work! Made out of 100% organic cotton, it creates a sophisticated line that works amazingly well with slacks and sling-back heels or a slim skirt and peep-toe heels (with tights, of course!)

Get it for $156.00 by clicking here.

The white dress is a hot pick! Never seen a short sleeve turtle neck before. It looks like a loose fit around the neck…
Pricey, but by designers standards its not bad, plus its eco friendly. Cant put a price on that.
