This beaded patchwork bag by Xhenoga, a Black Empowerment group in South Africa. It was handmade there, and its production abides by the Fair Trade Principles. A portion of the proceeds go towards the Topsy Foundation, a foundation providing a multi-faceted approach to helping babies affected by AIDS.
The price, you ask? It’s $38.70. Down from $129.00. That is NOT a typo!

Saw the promo and I’m a little late but welcome to b5! I’m sooooo glad to see a fashion blog that I’ll actually read and like. Love the bags, love the boots, and can see that this is going to be a great blog for me. I’ll be back… oh yes, I will.

Well, after reading your profile I am hereby withdrawing my “welcome to b5″ — since you were already here. (I don’t read the celebrity blogs — sorry). I’d like to change that to a plain “welcome to a new blog” and I’m in no way withdrawing said comments about the bags, boots, or me coming back. :D
