Chic Splurge: Deborah Lindquist Dresses
Deborah Lindquist is one of Los Angeles’ hottest high fashion eco-designers. She uses such eco-friendly fabrics like recycled cashmere, repurposed kimonos and saris, vintage fabrics, hemp, bamboo, organic cotton and organic wool.
Her clothing is playful and beautiful. I’d wear ‘em everywhere, if I could.
Dress the short ones down with cute flats and a big bag for a Saturday, or some heels and a cute wrap for a fun evening out. It depends on the dress (see the variety below!) and the activity at hand.
However, it’s also expeeeeeeeeeeensive. As in, if I buy her clothes today, there goes groceries for the next six months out the window.
The baby doll dress on the left made out of woven raffia and hemp. It’s yours for (only!) $725.00. The vintage kimono/hemp/organic cotton dress on the right is $775.00

The empire gown on the left is made out of rich vintage silks.
The price? $950 big ones! Last, but not least, the bustier bustle on the right, also made out of reclaimed vintage fabrics, is $790.

I can so see that last dress on Nicky Hilton. Nicky’s the nice Hilton, so it’s all good!
After you’ve caught your breath, and actually want to order one (or just look and dream!), you can do so by clicking here.
She has tons of fantastic pieces, and it’s worth checking out, as long as you don’t drool and ruin your keyboard!
Don’t worry — tomorrow I’ll have CHEAP dresses! Promise!

I love both the ones on the left. Not crazy about the other two and I’d have to agree that my poor son would go foodless for them. I don’t get how people are comfortable slapping 700+ on what’s basically enough material for a baby. Blows my mind.
