Oh man. It’s almost jacket season and jackets are my favorite!
I want a motorcycle jacket, a satin jacket and anything else I can find that’s awesome.
Like perhaps this tiny frilly black satin jacket from De Sentino. It’s a Canadian brand, and I have no idea how this jacket is eco or socially […]

You can only have so many crazy shirts and dresses.
Sometimes you need a plain, white tank. Effortless, gorgeous and perfect with those jeans you should have thrown away years ago.
This Under the Canopy Tank is made of 100% organic cotton and has a great cut. Just long enough and thin enough to layer with if […]

Get into the librarian or secretary look with this top by Passenger Pigeon.
It’s made out of organic cotton and hemp and was sewn and produced in Canada, where Passenger Pigeon is located.
I like the simple elegance of the top. It’ll be great for a work top and would easily carry into a after-work drinks […]

This is a tad pricey for me, but I love the design.
It’s a bamboo top by Protect the Element with pretty puff sleeves and a drawstring at the neckline. It’s a good mix of dressy and casual in one of my favorite fabrics.
$142

Mandalas have always fascinated me. I think they’re so beautiful and definitely resonate with anyone who mediates or does yoga.
Mandinez is a line by Jivelle Callender that features mandalas on tee-shirts and bags. New mandalas are released periodically and you can choose from the 14 available.
Every single tee is made sweatshop free and with organic […]

The dyes are safe and non-toxic, so anything you get from spun is going to be a comfortable perennial in your closet. This is the first collection released by designer Sara Seumae and is meant to be the […]

Claire La Faye created this converted vintage slip, with amazingly romantic details.
Slips and slip tops are great pieces to keep around for a night look. Some vintage boudoir items I’ve found don’t even need any retooling. I do love what Claire has done with this top. The rhinestones are so pretty and […]

More recycled clothing for you.
Supayana is the designer that won last years Next Big Thing, a great contest run by indie clothiers Fred Flare. Everything produced by supayana is fantastic.
This reconstructed plaid shirt hits my plaid soft spot. The flutter top was a men’s button-up in a former life, but now is a great top […]

This used to be a tablecloth, can you imagine?
I love the simplicity of the design and it’s the type of jacket you’ll end up wearing over anything. There is a paisley design I cant’ really se in the pictures, but the listing says it’s there.
The lining is recycled too, wit ha vintage sheet, so it’ll […]

Plaid shirts. They are my soft spot, since I embraced the grunge trend as a kid like it was my own creation.
Now, I tend to wear my plaid under tube tops or as a loose J. Crew but cooler look.
This great top is made of recycled plaid cowboy shirts. I don’t know what could be […]
